Review of "Beastly" the movie

Kyle is a senior at the Manhattan prep-school and has a very shallow and narcissistic personality. A few of his saying are:

He insults people who he sees as ugly, and will redicule them in public. One of them is a witchy fellow student called Kendra (played by Mary-Kate Olsen). She is supposed to play an ugly witch although she is not ugly at all in the movie.
One day, Kyle tricks her as if he invites her to his party, but once there, he mocks and insults her infront of everyone. Kendra as a result puts a spell on him which makes him As agressively unattractive outside as he is inside. (Although I think he looks pretty cool haha).

The only way this spell will go away and that he will turn back to his normal "beautiful" form, is to have someone who will say “I love you” to him within 1 years as who he is or he will be forever beastly. As a result, he goes to hide in a luxury condo-hideout provided by his father who, as a narcissistic broadcast journalist, shares his son’s distaste for unattractive people so can’t wait to eliminate his son from his life.

Vanessa Hudgens plays the girl that will fall in love with him and say the magic words which will turn him back to normal. Same as in beauty and the beast. He has a secret crush on her and one day finds her and her dad in trouble because her dad is a drug dealer. Anyway, she has to be kept safe in his house and their bond grows. There are a lot of similarities with beauty and the beast. Like the roses, he builds a rose garden for her, also on the "tatoo" on his arms some roses appear when his time is almost up. Also like Belle, she is kept in his house without her wanting it at first. She dreams about escaping. Also the guy is a "beast" but he is stinking rich, same as the guy from beauty and the beast.

There are also a couple of touching moments in the movie, like when she actually values him for who he is inside, or when they watch a movie of a mother elephant that returns to the skeleton of her babies that died each year, where he asks "can you imagine such love"? It made me think about how much judgement there is in the world, about peoples looks and just in general as well. How people often don't really love each other, but more have attachments or desires they use the other for to fulfill. Like very conditional forms of love. Like you have to give sex, you have to look pretty, etc... Fill it in yourself.

Often girls or woman will love unattractive males, when they are stinking rich. How many of those woman would want the same guy, if they were broke? Their numbers would decline seriously. Really we don't fully understand what real love is. Loving someone as the essence, as an equal to yourself. It doesn't mean wanting to have sex with them or feeling lovy dovy all the time. If love depends on those emotions, it comes and goes. Sometimes love is doing things which may hurt others at first, but are actually best for them. By not allowing another to be less than who they are as life, to not hold another as a prisoner by how he/she is programmed. Love is not jealousy, it is not possession.

I want to add to that: some want money to survive, which is obvious, we need money to have enough food, a roof, electricity, clothing , water etc... That is the way our system works. But some woman want more money than they need, money to spend on luxury, on thousands of shoes, animal tested make-up products, things to try and boost their confidence, living a shallow life filled with material things trying to fill whatever gap is there. All these things require massive production and energy, and creates a lot of garbage.
So we have to take all into consideration, because equal money does not mean that everyone can just have all the riches they like. If it is abusive towards the whole, it cannot be allowed. Because today the very wealthy live like they can, because there are a lot of people on the bottom.

Does getting your periods make you a woman?





I first got my periods when I was 14 years old, in Spain on the 6th of august. We were drinking something at a restaurant outside and I went to the toilet and suddenly... there was blood!

So I instantly knew, I have my periods. I went outside and told my mom. She then told my dad and we drove to a nearby supermarket to get me some menstruation pads for the first time ever. My mom and I talked about it, and I said I would use menstruation pads and not tampons because I didn't dare to stick anything inside me. It felt abit strange to get my periods but overall it wasn't that different.

When we went back to Belgium my mom told my grandma which sais: she is a lady now.
I kinda smiled at that, not because I wanted to be a woman, but because of the way she made it sound. Like it was something to be proud off, getting your periods. Later on also my friends knew who acted as if it was something special. So that made me feel good, like I was better or something, like more of a girl/ woman.

It is intresting because you again get a label on you, like: now you are more of a woman.
Because you become fertile, because you can make babies. My grandparents are not so happy about the fact that I dont want a husband or babies now, which they didn't expect because "that is not how they raised me". Because from when we are young we are pushed into gender roles, with specific habbits and markings, specific behavior to do or to not do. If you are a lady you have to be pretty, polite, not fart or burp... shit like that. We give our children these rules, often simply because that is what we were taught ourselves. But it is like this breeding program where we already want our children to fit in and one day be a proper lady or man to find a good mating partner. Because if you are a woman but dont act like a lady, or dont look like a lady, which man will want you? People dont always think as blunt as that, but it is this pattern which is accepted, even when people are not aware of it.

And after a while, when boys and girls grow up - they start to judge each other on that behavior. They will even tease their peers for not fitting in that image, even bully them! There was once a girl in my class which looked like a boy and she got bullied a lot. It was in age group 13, quite young. But this gets taught to children. As if when a girl looks like a boy, suddenly they are inferior and treated inferior. If they wouldnt have known she was a girl, would they have done that? Probably not.

So parents, be careful of what you say to your children, and what you project and the limitations that you may box them into. Because this has a bigger effect than you can imagine.

Just look at the world, and you got your proof.

'Yikes', as if it is something horrible. There is a constant focus on beauty, on looking a certain way, on creating a certain picture to be liked by others. This is the product of a world devided, a world without real care for beings as who they are, a world obsessed with money and ego. What are people really dressing up for? Money, it makes money. It is like buying peoples attraction with your looks.

The population loves these kind of pictures because it shows them that they are not "perfect" either, as what the media portrays "perfect" and what is presented in photoshopped magazine covers or by people who spend their entire day on keeping up a fit trained body and so called "perfect skin", all to fit into this ideal and have the "positive" attention from others.

It is easy to look like a celebrity, like someone in a magazine. You get make up put on, your hair done in the style that according to our culture "suits you best", maybe some photoshopping on your pictures and done.

But does this all make people happier? By constantly worrying about what others think about them, by feeling shit when people don't think good about them, and feeling good when people do? Is this really the life we want to live?

Our cultures acts as if it is bad when you have certain features that they see as "flaws", and that you have to cover up. Like: "do not wear three quarter pants when you have short legs", or "do not wear socks in sandals". Who the fuck cares. Seriously, I couldnt care less if someone weares socks in their sandals, if that is comfortable for them, go for it!

The way to stop your insecurities, and the emotional ups and downs attached to your picture presentation, is by a process of self-honesty.
By looking within yourself, to find out which thoughts trigger your emotions, make you feel insecure, bad, depressed, unworthy, not good enough etc...
And to lay out these patterns so that you see how they are programmed within you, and that they do not serve you or anyone else. And to realise that you do not have to be a slave to those thoughts! You do not have to follow them. You can breath, stop, and let them go and remain present in the moment.
And that is what I have done through and by my participating with desteni. I started to see these patterns within myself and slowely but surely take responsebility for them. Because I don't want to live like I did before. I don't want to keep judging myself and feeling bad about it. I don't want to grow old and dislike my wrinkles or my sagging body. I want to accept my body, and not punish myself because someone said that it was/is not good enough.

Because without these cultural judgements, would we even feel insecure about it?
If you look at all various beauty standards in all culture around the globe and throughout history?

The change begins with ourselves. Don't underestimate yourself.

OMG reincarnation is fucked up!

There is something fucked up about the believe in karma and reincarnation.
I just got a reply from someone saying that rich people deserve it because they have reincarnated and did good things in their past life. That is why they are wealthy right now or got the opportunity.  Lol, but think about it.
If that would be true, look at the rich and wealthy, how many abuse they support, and even create the abuse themselves sometimes, like corporate owners who have people slave for them in sweatshops, who purely live for their own self-intrest, who don’t give a shit, who gossip, who hate, who place themselves as superior etc… which means in their next life they gotta suffer again since they abused and were so “bad” in this life. LOL .
And the ones being abused now, according to that person, deserve it because of their previous life. But they cant remember it so how can they learn from that? + The abuse is brought to them by others, often with more wealth, which means that it is a never ending circle :P Kinda insane!

Is Stephen Hawkins going to hell?

Hawking said in an interview this week that he doesn't believe in an afterlife, and he said the notion of heaven is a "fairy story."

Now the rapture is over, we see how an asshole God is because he left my innocent dog here to burn and suffer in Armagedon. What did he ever do to piss off God so much? There are children running around outside, maybe God decided to leave them here to make doomsday abit more spectacular, with screaming fearfull children everywhere. A doomsday simply isn't complete without it.

Now let's get serious, the whole rapture-scenario again failed. We have been busy with these kinds of predictions for thousands of years. It is not hard to make predictions, you say something will happen without a specific date (or something people can read into), and then you have eternity to wait for something like that to happen. Isn't that wonderful :) When something like that happens, it doesnt even mean the prophecy came true.

Humanity has this hope for dramatic events. They like to wait and fantasize about it, but when it happens, they soon realise it is not as fun as it looked inside their mind. Because fear sets in, anxiety, pain...

We don't realise how evil we are by desiring such things. We don't realise how blind we are for believing books of religion and automaticly believe the creature in the book which calls itself "god" to be good, and then we blindly follow it and worship it. It is exactly what we do in this world with our leaders. We wait for them to change things, we hope they will change things and we blame them when things go wrong.
We place them on a higher level than ourselves, while they are just living beings like us. We place them on top because we want them to make things better for us. We always look for sheppards, so we can be the sheep. This is an abusive design, programmed within many, and easy to see for yourself.
If we do not learn to take self-responsibility and realise we are equally as powerful to change things - if we dont, then things will never change and we will remain in our loops of ups and downs. For some way more downs than ups.

Because the "chosen ones" are probably taken up into heaven and we are left to suffer a horrible death of extreme suffering. And my little nephew is still here, wonder what he did to make God so freaking angry that he nows has to suffer an excruciating end.

Whenever you have a question like: "Hey, God why did you place those demons into pigs and make them run of a cliff? Why didnt you just... kill the demons? ". People would go like: SHUT UP YOU BLASPHEMIST! YOU CANNOT QUESTION THE ALMIGHTY.

lol. The idea of worshipping a god is so deeply installed within us. We hear the word "god" and immediatly we connect it to something that is good and much better than us.
This is not the way we will sort out this mess on Earth. But that is what many christians dont care about, which shows what a trap religion is. It is like "don't do anything, just believe and wait for heaven and try to convert as many others in the meanwhile". It used to be a great tactic in the older days to keep the poor serving and obedient to the rich elite (which the church was part of), and to not have them go for any change and keep them numb. And well well well... it is still happening even today!

So if such a rapture commes, ask yourself if you really would want to be part of such a thing, and blindly follow a being that claims itself to be god, but is not in actions. If the rapture does come, all starving children should today be removed from the planet, will it happen?

There have been doomsday dates and scenario's for ages, they have always existed. It is time we stop waiting for these events, or imagine about them, and fix what we have done on this planet. Stop the abuse we allow every single day. Fuck an armageddon! For many people, doomsday is every single day. For the child prostitute who has to have sex with old dirty men, for the starving person who's body suffers in pain due to malnutrition and cant even whipe the flies from his face because of weakness, for the families running from bombs and guns , their houses and everything destroyed ...

Stop waiting for a rapture, let's create heaven on earth.

How To Speak Na'vi

The chances are high that you have seen the movie "Avatar" and were quite amazed with this movie and the message it brings. I can say that I really enjoyed that movie and is probably the best I have ever seen.

However... (you knew this was comming didn't you?)

There is something we have to consider. When we watch such spectacular movies, we get this feeling over us when the movie is finished - you know this "special" feelings that makes you want to be part of a world as presented in the movie. Lot's of people who saw that movie say it is their ideal planet, that it is how they would like to live.

Who's fault is it that "Earth sucks"? Our fault. The Earth itself did not pop up banks and corporations that demolish life for profit, it did not pop out religious institutions that keep people blind and obedient, it didn't pop out atomb bombs and corruption... We popped all that shit out of our minds. We have created it , using the resources from Earth. With all the directions we could take with it, we chose a very destructive way of living. We didn't decide to live in harmony and cooporate, we decided to follow our pre-programming and destroy and compete. We have even destroyed entire nations with atomb bombs, we go to war for the resources of other countries so we can make money and they... we'll, we apparantly dont care about "them". They are not our family anyway right? We are pretty safe here, in our houses which look like castles to a starving person, with our pc's and tv's we spy on the world and read all the gossip. We read about poverty and crime and think "oh that is so bad :'(" , while we click the "I sign this petition" button and get on with our lives of not giving a shit.
Because giving a shit shows in our actions and what we direct our lives towards, not in our words and feelings. You can say you care, but if you don't live up to your words it doesn't mean anything.

So most of us, would be part of the humans destroying Pandora. You may not like it, but you can easily be brainwashed to agree with the status quo keepers, so you would probably stand numb at the side. "Let those on top take care of it". Those on top are on top because they crave power, why trust them if you see how the elite of the world is controlled by profit. Why do you think that suddenly they will start to work for the common good while they never did? Are they more than you, better than you? No. They were once born as babies, with their diapers and their toys and they grew up within a society corrupted by profitdrive and various other factors related.
All of us are equally responsible for this world and ourselves. It is time we stop placing ourselves as inferior because it is very easy to do that, nice excuse to not having to do anything when you can say "I am not this enough or that enough". Skills can be trained, and speaking up does not require vast amounts of knowledge. It takes your will and common sense and self-honesty.

By reading what I just wrote, you now learned to speak Na'vi, which can be spoken in any language existing. Because it is the language of the common good of all, and the protection of our planet and all living beings on it.

Join the Equality movement ! Lets create a strong base foundation of caring beings that in time, will enter the political scene worldwide, and change things. Your not alone.
