About Miley Cyrus her heart condition

article-2606056-1D1E91EB00000578-943_634x1023Miley Cyrus had an extreme allergic reaction to antibiotics she was taking, and had to rush to the hospital to get treated. But, it was revealed that she has tachycardia, a faster than normal heartbeat that could lead to a stroke.
Tachycardia is a heart rate that exceeds the normal range. In general, a resting heart rate over 100 beats per minute is accepted as tachycardia. Tachycardia can be caused by various factors that often are benign. However, tachycardia can be dangerous, depending on the speed and type of rhythm. When the heart beats excessively or rapidly, the heart pumps less efficiently and provides less blood flow to the rest of the body, including the heart itself. The increased heart rate also leads to increased work and oxygen demand by the heart, which can lead to rate related ischemia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tachycardia
http://www.heart.org/HEARTORG/Conditions/Arrhythmia/AboutArrhythmia/Tachycardia-Fast-Heart-Rate_UCM_302018_Article.jsp
‘She could get heart muscle problems and even heart failure at worst,’ Dr Mark Urman told the weekly. ‘She could even end up with a stroke.’
Who is likely to have Atrial or SVT?
  • SVT is the most common type of arrhythmia in children
  • More common in women, but may occur in either sex
  • Anxious young people
  • People who are physically fatigued
  • People who drink large amounts of coffee
  • People who drink alcohol heavily
  • People who smoke heavily
So Miley is ticking a couple of these boxes. She is known for partying hard, doing a lot of physical work, drinking alcohol and smoking.  I don’t know if she consumes coffee. Her lifestyle may in fact contribute to her condition, and this is something she has to be careful off.
To make mattes worse, the Wrecking Ball singer has a love of drugs, something she has freely admitted to several times.
The Tennessee native has confessed she loves marijuana and Molly, which is also known as MDNA and Ecstasy.
The ex-fiancé of Liam Hemsworth even wrote a song about pot smoking and has worn costumes to her concert with marijuana leaves on them.
‘She knows she’s not supposed to smoke pot or do drugs, but she does it anyway,’ a source told the magazine.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2606056/More-health-issues-Miley-Cyrus-heart-condition-stroke-keeps-partying-hard.html#ixzz2z7DP3qp1
The recommendations they give regards tachycardia are:
  • Cutting down on coffee.
  • Cutting down on alcohol.
  • Quitting tobacco use.
  • Getting more rest.
  • Slow down physical exertion
As I read further, I realize she already knew about this condition:
During her 2009 Miles To Go memoir the blonde admitted she needed to be careful with her health.
‘My heart rate increases a lot just from going up a flight of stairs,’ she wrote in the book. ‘There is never a time onstage when I’m not thinking about my heart.’ She also admitted she was born with a hole in her heart.
Now to get to the point. What I see her is a choice of the mind over the body, and how a self-image based on ego may cause us to destroy our body. Miley has taken on a certain personality, a certain image. This image happens to go together with a wilder lifestyle, drugs and alcohol. All these things are known to be bad for her heart. So then the choice is: will she be able to choose her body over her mind, and not define herself according to a certain image or idea? Because the  extend in which she follows her mind can lead her into more physical harm. The attachment to this image she has about herself may lead to her health deteriorating or even ending in death. So this also shows a point of enslavement, of being enslaved to a certain idea about yourself, and something you want others to think about you and who you are.
I am only using Miley as an example here, because this can be applied to many of us.
If you cannot “be yourself” without a man made drug, then what does this say about who you are? It says you are fabricated, that ‘who you are’ is dependent on certain substances, or based on an image and idea. And if this is lost, then suddenly “you” are lost as well. Where in fact did you go? Nowhere, you are still here in the physical (if you are not dead ofcourse). You still have your body, your brain, your organs… you can think, sense, smell, move and everything else. So the only thing that can convince you that you are “less” than you previously were, are thoughts that you allow within your mind. Thoughts that you allow to tell you that you are “less” or “not you”.
So if a behavior is causing your body harm, and you know it, and you also know it can cause you further health problems and even end up in death. Then which thoughts exactly would lead you to continue that behavior. Which thoughts are connected to emotions that are so strong, that they can convince you to harm your physical body? The body that gives you life and makes you walk on this planet, and enjoy it (if you are not in a deprived position and suffering like many are on this planet unfortunately). I think we take our bodies too much for granted, and give our programmed mind way too much credit and act as a slave towards it.
If it was up to me, I would know which choice to make, and it would be my body, not my mind. Because the body always has the final say over life and death.

Why do Vegans look Sick and Pale ?

Because they don’t :)
These stereotypes have to be rid out of the world. People look sick and pale on all kinds of diets. And there is nothing wrong with being pale either, it simply means you don’t spend a lot of time in the sun or your skin does not tan easily.

Does health equal beauty ?

(ps: on this pic I was eating an omnivore diet, with lots of fat and junk in between and 3 kg heavier. Afterwards I became vegan, ate more "healthy", did it make me more attractive? Nope! )

I have heard and read these comments soo much:
"Healthy people look more beautiful"
"I want to look beautiful because it shows that I am healthy, it is natural"

First of all, what is considered to be beautiful is based on where you live and in which time you live. Right now it is attractive to be tanned, but back in the days you had to have white skin and women even bathed in milk to try and achieve the whitest skin possible.
In some tribes, lip disks and huge earlobes are considered to be attractive.
Some like curves, some like sticks.

There is much variety, and what 1 person finds attractive, another may find not.

Now let's look at these girls:

Ana Carolina Reston

Eliana Ramos

Many guys who may see this girls (in bikini or not) may find them hot, and many girls may want to be like them.
But are they healthy? No, they are dead. Both models died young from Anorexia, and were actually starving themselves, which resulted in their body eating itself to dead slowly but surely. And this goes for many people. I have seen very sick people who look very beautiful, and I have seen very healthy people who look not so beautiful.

"As the parents of a teenage girl, my wife and I have had concerns over this issue ourselves. As a fitness trainer, the majority of my clientele comes to me with the goal of losing weight, whether it's healthy for them or not. As a man, I've been troubled with the realization that our society expects women to look like 13 year old boys with silicone implants."
http://www.examiner.com/personal-training-in-denver/media-representations-of-fitness-skinny-does-not-equal-healthy

I especially came to this topic after having a discussion with a raw foodist who shows of her body to attract people to the lifestyle,  in the hope of it changing the world. But the fact is, many of those people do it to look good and do not really care about the ethics of it all. It will not change the world because of our current system that simply deprives most of the population and brainwashes them over and over again. So for many it is not about "looking healthy" to others, it is about looking hot and attractive to others to get ones ego boosted. They may say they do it for their health, but the fact is that many of them wouldn't do it if it made them ugly but super super healthy (just hypothetically speaking). And without the necessary vain results, they will continue not to care unless they truly change their outlook on the world, and work towards a change on a real physical level - actually adressing the current system and how we can change it, with WHAT we will replace it, how we will take care of all the things that have to be taken care off, worldwide distribution of food and items etc...

"The trouble with always trying to preserve the health of the body is that it is so difficult to do without destroying the health of the mind."
~G.K. Chesterton
It becomes a total obsession and your life will revolve around thinking about the way you look. You'll end up worrying your entire life, and forget to enjoy it.

The lesson is to not judge a book by it's cover. A radiant looking beautiful girl may be backstabbing and unhealthy inside. A ugly looking girl may be the most carring and healthy individual on the planet. But if you only see what you want to see, you will probably not see at all. Because you place your believes above all else, and you will only see the things that fit your belief. You will see things that are not even there, like a fruitarian going back to cooked food, looking better but still you seem to see dark circles under the eyes and more imperfections than before. Even though the individual feels better and gets better results.

And who the fuck wants to spend their life imagining the good thoughts that others are having about you? I sure as hell don't. I was well on my way of becoming that way but I learned to stop myself from following whatever my culture pushes on me. And so can you.

We require a society that does research not sponsored by big coorporations who only think about their profit. Because else we will end up saying that eating sand is good for your liver or shit like that. You know... they will put patents on sand.
We require a world that care and where they do  not promote unhealthy shit to people, and have unhealthy eating places all over every city. We require honest research, and the best for all. If money was not the driving force, then this could be a reality. Using ways to attract people to a message for a better world is cool, but together with that you need to have a replacement for the current system.

How to look like you've been beaten up

There is a new fashion trend (DUH) and that is the "look like you've been beaten up" look. Basically, you have to make yourself look like shit. The fashion industry is now telling girls and woman that the new trend is that of imperfection.

Stephanie Rosenbloom of the Times writes:
The new look for the new year is effortless, minimalist, just-out-of-bed-with-your-lover, according to leading hair and makeup artists. They say that stiff coiffures, overdone eyes, defined lips and matte skin are out. Tousled hair, smudged eyeliner, dewy lips and luminous skin are in.
I wouldn't consider this effortless. You know why? Because woman and girls are so conditioned to look good, that they will make sure this look looks good on them. A lot of them wont just jump out of bed not taking a look in the mirror. Most of them, will look in the mirror, comb their hair and then ruffle it up to be "pretty and messy" at the same time, apply their make up and make sure it too looks messy in a sexy kinda way. It will take practice and effort.
So it may have a different name and setting, but everything remains the same : follow the beauty system, look like they want you to look, spend your money, judge others on their appearance so that they will comply, feel insecure without make up, feel insecure, think about others finding you attractive, compete with other females for the male attention and desire, feel insecure.... crazy shit, that's what it is.

All of us should re-claim our power as living beings, equal to other living beings, and stop complying to this money driven consumerist scam. Because it is not just a way of innocent expression, it is fueled by a purpose and that purpose is profit and sales. It goes together with thoughts, insecurity, jealousy, competition etc...
And it will not stop until we stop it. It will not stop as long as profit is the driving force of this world.

Maybe we can all do the zombie look in 2012 , what do you think?
At least we will have a laugh walking on the street. I figure that would be loads more fun then walking around trying to get our ego's boosted all the time.

Drag Kings

Like Drag queens, Drag kings are females that experiment with their gender.
It can consist of wearing masculing clothing, a bear and mustach, breast binding, shaving ones head, acting masculin etc... Some do it as a form of performing art, also incorporating dancing and singing. Others may use it as a way of expressing themselves, having fun or simply walking around like that.

You might have seen Lady Gaga dressing up like a man.

The first popular male impersonator in U.S. theater was Annie Hindle, who started performing in New York in 1867. British music hall performer Vesta Tilley was active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries as a male impersonator. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drag_king

Drag kings are said to be largely a phenomenon of the lesbian culture and can most often be seen at lesbian bars. But not all drag kings are lesbians.

This can be a fun way of expressing yourself and realizing you do not have to fit into the cultural stereotype of what it is to be a good "woman" of "man". If people judge others according to those standards, it shows their own brainwashing and cultural indoctrination.
What a female or male should look or act like has changed through the years. And really: who can decide this? And more: why would we obey to this?

What is our constant obsession with judging others when they do not fit into the picture we desire from them?

It is important to look at our starting point with whatever we do.
If one does this because of dissatisfaction with ones body , it is important to get to the root of why one feels like this. If we feel inferior, depressed, disgusted or sad about what we look like, then there is a problem involved. Because you are harming yourself through judging your physical body. While we could be comfortable within it no matter what we look like. This is the same as others judging you as being a "good" female or male, you are now judging yourself as less or more. And what exactly are those thoughts that make you think like that? Why did it start, when and why do you allow it? If you give it power over you in that specific area, there is no certaintly that it won't come back in other areas. You may be able to dress differently, but that has not removed the source of the problem.

If a woman wants to shave her head, then she can do that as much as a man. If a man wants long hair or wear a skirt, then he can do that as much as a female. Why would our genitals decide which clothing we have to wear, or how we have to speak and behave, or with which toys we should or should not play? It is actually more the general look that people judge wether you should act and look like a male or a female. Female face = act like a female.
Dressing like a female, a man, an elephant or a lepracon... can be fun, a way of expressing yourself. But we have to be on the lookout of hidden insecurity and judgement. And make sure others judgements do not become our own.

Review of “ In Time” – Time is money

Yesterday I decided to go a long with my brother and his girlfriend to watch the movie “In Time”, starring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried.

The story plays off in a not so distant future. Instead of money, people trade with “time”. Everyone is born with some kind of physical clock on their lower arm – and as soon as they become 25, the clock starts to count down from 1 year. That is how long you have left to live UNLESS you are able to get, buy or work for more time. Everyone works for a day..then they are given another day to live. Their paychecks are given out as "minutes" at the end of their shifts, which allow them to live to work another day.
Everyone also “freezes” on 25, so your appearance stops aging as well.

There are about 4 different “time zones”. A time zone is a zone with a specific population. You have on the extreme sides the super wealthy, and the poor who live in the ghetto. The poor don’t have much time, live day to day, often drop dead on the street because they run out of time.
The rich have time enough, some have 105 years on their arm, some even up to a thousand.

The main actor, Will Salas (Justin Timberlake ), meets a rich man in a bar in his ghetto. It is quite strange because normally the classes are separated. Going to the ghetto as a rich man is extremely dangerous because everyone wants your time.
And indeed, he is attacked by Fortis , the 75-year old mobster boss of a gang called the Minutemen, who are infamous for stealing other people's time by force.

Will ends up rescuing him , while finding out he actually wants to die. He does not want to live forever, and talks about the fact that the rich can live forever, because the poor die early. Because not all people can live forever, only the select few, so they make sure prices go up in the ghetto, taxes go up etc… so that the poor keep dying.
Will is shocked by this.

This rich man has 106 years on his arm. They fall asleep and in the morning Will wakes up, finding the rich man is gone. He looks at his arm and sees 106 years on it. The rich man gave his years to him and wrote on the mist on the window “don’t waste my time”. Will looks out of his window at the bridge and sees the man sitting on top of it. He hurries to try to get to him on time, but he is too late, and the rich man his time runs up, he dies and tumbles of the bridge.

So Will has 106 years now, and decides to go to the rich side, which is called New Greenwich. But the minutemen are after him of course, because they saw his face on a surveillance camera and tracked him, knowing he has the rich mans time, which they think he stole from him..

Will meets a very wealthy man in New Greenwich during poker, and he ends up getting together with his daughter. Some people in New greenwhich control time banks in the hood where they loan out time to anyone who is minutes away from Death and will pay any price to get it..they loan it out at a 40 percent interest rate. The wealthy man in New Greenwich also is one of the main figures who controles the time banks. He has a large screen in his office which show a map of the earth, with the numbers on it of time zones, and it notifies when there is a disruptance - when there is time in a time zone that is not supposed to be there. So that when they notice this, they can restore the system bad to it's polarity state of rich-poor.

The minutemen find him there, but Will can escape while kidnapping the daughter along, she is called “Sylvia” (Amanda Seyfried). She ends up becoming his helper in the battle against the system. They steal lots of time and hand it out to those in the Ghetto.

A few conversational quotes:

Will: "How can you live with yourself watching people die right next to you?"
Sylvia: "You don't watch. You close your eyes."

Phillippe Weis: "You put enough time in the wrong hands, you upset the whole system."
Will: "Let's hope so."

Henry: "How old are you? In real time?"
Will: "28."
Henry: "I'm 105. Does it show? The day comes when you've had enough. Your mind can be spent even if your body's not."
Will: "That's your problem? You've been alive too long? Have you ever known anyone who's died?"
Henry: "For a few to be immortal, many must die."
Will: "What the hell is that supposed to mean?"
Henry: "You really don't know, do you? Everyone can't live forever, where would we put them? Why do you think there are time zones? Why to you think taxes and prices go up the same day in the ghetto? The cost of living keeps rising to make sure people keep dying. How else could there be men with a million years almost from day to day? The truth is, there's more than enough. No one has to die before their time. If you had as much time as I have, what would you do with it?"
Will: "If I had all that time, I sure as hell wouldn't waste it."

Some viewers may watch this movie and think of how cruel such a world is. But actually it is exactly the world we are currently living in. We, the ones with a pc, are part of 4-5% of world population with a computer. We have a minority of extremely rich people making up 1% of global population who own 50 % of all wealth. We have a middle class who does reasonably well, and a majority that is on the bottom and struggles.

The rich can buy whatever they like, they can get to healthy good food, health care ,great education, good networks, sports and entertainment services, plastic surgery and creams to look younger and age slower (supposedly ), some have maids etc…
While the poor struggle to survive, live paycheck to paycheck hoping they’ll get buy. Have to buy food that they can afford which is not always the best, no proper education, sweatshop labor, starvation, no good networks etc….

Philippe Weis: Of course, some think what we have is unfair. The time difference between zones.
Will Salas: I've heard that.
Philippe Weis: But, hasn't evolution always been unfair? It's always been survival of the fittest. This is merely Darwinian capitalism.
Natural selection.
Will Salas: Absolutely. The strong survive”

The rich often use this as an excuse, because it serves their self-intrest. In that way they can justify their egoism, greed and abuse.
The fact is, we all accept this, because it is so known and common to us. We are also blind for what’s happening in our global system.
"You don't watch. You close your eyes."
Will upsetting the whole system stop this? What will stop this is standing together and working together to create a replacement for our current system. A system of equality and dignity, for the common good of all. We can do this, and if your don’t think so it simply means you have been brainwashed to give up and stay an obedient slave to the status quo.

10 most Embarrassing Beauty Problems solved! Orly?

I get junk in my mailbox sometimes. Well... actually more than just "sometimes". This time it had a heading saying "10 most Embarrassing Beauty Problems solved". I was curious. I thought to myself: what would they define as "embarrassing"?
So I clicked, and found out the 10 things we should all be very embarrassed about!
1.Cold sores
2.Dandruff
3.Warts
4.Cystic Acne
5.Hairy moles
6.Bad breath
7.Bacne (acne on your back)
8.Ingrown bikini line haires
9.Bruised toenails
10.Dark armpits

Start to become embarrassed people!
I score a 3 out of 10 on this. So I should be a little less than average embarrassed but still enough to be pretty uncomfortable with myself.

Seriously, this shit is bullshit. Girls (and guys), if you read shit like this, skip it or laugh about it. There is no need to be insecure about any of such things, no need at all! Unless you desire a world where people go around judging each other and themselves constantly. Oh oops.. we already have that world.
But it doesn't have to be that way. We can change it and the best prove is by starting with yourself.
By releasing your own shame and accepting your body for what it is and stop allowing fears about other people's judgements. If they are that shallow and ignorant to judge such things, it tells you a lot about who THEY are and not about who you are.

I got dandruff since years, my dad has it, his dad has it as well. I dont use shampoo, they try to use all kinds of shit. Does it help? Nope. Does it embarrass me? Not in a million years.

We have created this world, where everything revolves around money. This system feeds off people's insecurity because that way it can sell. People will try to releave the insecurity by buying the stuff that will "cure" them and make them stop being embarrassed or insecure. And why are they insecure? Because they are told to BE insecure! If you are not trained to feel insecure about these things, if you are not around judgemental people, and around people who care about you as a living being - you will in no way develop an insecurity. Only in a society of competition, judgement, hostility and gossip will these feelings spring up.

So this money system does not only create the most obvious abuse such as hostile competition, corruption, sweatshop work, crime, poverty, starvation ... it also creates internal abuse and the feeding thereof. It uses slogans and images to manipulate the minds of young people and children. Ofcourse also adults, but these things start early  in childhood.

It is about time for a change, and a change will go gradually, starting with the Equal money system. A system based on life, respect and equality. From there on, a new human being can develop. A human being no longer brainwashed by the money machines that keeps everything in chains.
